We love to support progressive and interesting music nights and the Club Kamikaze events certainly fall into that category. After the Christmas period is over they will be welcoming a true visionary of electronic music, one half and founder of UNKLE, producer and DJ James Lavelle, for what will be one of our biggest nights yet!
The internationally renowned Mo’Wax label founder and man behind 1998’s seminal psychedelic hip-hopera ‘Psyence Fiction’ LP is one of the most respected producers and DJs in the business, heralded for pushing electronic music into new territories.
With long-running associations with international super clubs such as London’s Fabric, he’s still in high demand, and having worked with such artists as Brian Eno, Thom Yorke, Josh Homme, Ian Brown and The Beastie Boys, as well as helping to set up the influential XL label (home of Dizzee, Adele and the White Stripes), he’s truly one of music’s biggest movers and shakers.
Having headlined Reading Festival’s Dance Tent with UNKLE just last year, as well as headlining the Jersey Live Dance Arena on his own back in 2006, James Lavelle is very much accustomed to the big stage, so with only a limited number of tickets available this represents a rare opportunity to see him perform up close and personal!
