The theme for the aMaizin! Maze this year is ancient civilizations and as always will not disappoint. New attractions include the mini maze, where you only have to find 5 clues which is ideal for young ones, and the dino dig where you can hunt for dinosaurs and become an archaeologist for the day. Although many of the activities are aimed at children and families, it really does have something for everyone and is a great place for the ?young at heart? to spend a day.

What was once a simple golf course now has so much more to offer. The Segway rally is a fantastic activity for competitive groups or those just after something a bit different. The Lavender Farm is one of the most enjoyable, relaxing and educational ways to spend a couple of hours in Jersey. Jersey?s Living Legend Village is a must visit during the summer months. The AquaSplash has Jersey?s premiere aqua facilities all under one roof. Durrell is one of the must-sees of Jersey. All islanders feel they should go more often and all tourists push it to the top of their to-do lists, and so they should. Durrell, although like a zoo is actually a conservation centre that breeds endangered species and works with places like Madagascar to educate people on the importance of bio-diversity. With animals and birds like gorillas, flamingos and orangutans it really is a top attraction.

Jersey Museum is a great introduction to life in Jersey. Enjoy the perfectly restored Victorian merchant?s town house and explore the story of Jersey from the first inhabitants approximately 250,000 years ago, through the Bronze Age, the Roman period and right up to the modern day. On display are some of Jersey?s best treasures, including mammoth bones from 150,000 years ago and the St Helier gold torque. It is the best way to brush up on your Jersey history.
