aMaizin! Maze ? 9

The theme for the aMaizin! Maze this year is ancient civilizations and as always will not disappoint. New attractions include the mini maze, where you only have to find 5 clues which is ideal for young ones, and the dino dig where you can hunt for dinosaurs and become an archaeologist for the day. Although many of the activities are aimed at children and families, it really does have something for everyone and is a great place for the ?young at heart? to spend a day.

Les Mielles ? 12A

What was once a simple golf course now has so much more to offer.  The Segway rally is a fantastic activity for competitive groups or those just after something a bit different.  And the laser clay pigeon shooting and miniature golf course are two activities that should not be missed this summer. And after all that, what better way to recuperate than to head to Rocco?s restaurant which, with its stunning views over St Ouen?s Bay has gained a superb reputation for wonderful food and a relaxed atmosphere. Jersey Lavender Farm

The Lavender Farm is one of the most enjoyable, relaxing and educational ways to spend a couple of hours in Jersey.  Unwind in peaceful, tranquil gardens and savour the stunning sights of lavender rows blooming in shades of blue, indigo and purple in the 9 acres of fields. You can also feed the chickens and doves that coo and cluck lazily around the place. A little known perk of the Lavender Farm is its lovely café that does an amazing breakfast – the perfect way to start the day.  Don?t forget to stock up on presents for friends and pampering goodies for yourself in their little shop!

Living Legend ? 8A

Jersey?s Living Legend Village is a must visit during the summer months.  Whether it?s to view the Jersey Experience, which provides a multi-dimensional insight into Jersey?s heritage and history, or play a spot of crazy golf on one the two 18 hole courses, the Jersey Karting Complex is a relatively new addition to the Living Legend and is a great way to spend an afternoon, whilst the Shopping Village offers a variety of crafts and trinkets and always has a fabulous end of season sale.

Jersey Sea Sport ? 15, 12, 12A

Jersey Sea Sport is one of the largest and oldest established jet skiing centre in Europe, and has 8 three-seater ?ride-on? type jetskis, 1 sports model jetski, a surf-jet motorised surfboard and 2 powerful skiboats. They also run banana rides, speedboat trips, water skiing and wakeboarding. Because of the high demand for activities like this across the island, booking is advisable if you are in a large group. Perfect for adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers.

AquaSplash ? all routes

The AquaSplash has Jersey?s premiere aqua facilities all under one roof. For serious swimmers, the 25-metre swimming pool is designed for a whole range of aquatic activities as the depth varies with movable floor. Whilst for families, the leisure pool provides fun on the flumes, tyre ride, inflatable and lazy river and is just the ticket to keep everyone amused. Durrell ? 3A, 3B

Durrell is one of the must-sees of Jersey. All islanders feel they should go more often and all tourists push it to the top of their to-do lists, and so they should.  Durrell, although like a zoo is actually a conservation centre that breeds endangered species and works with places like Madagascar to educate people on the importance of bio-diversity.  With animals and birds like gorillas, flamingos and orangutans it really is a top attraction.

Jersey Potteries ? 1, 1A, 1B

Excellent service and outstanding quality has been the brand?s ethos for the past 50 years since the family company was first established. From humble beginnings as a small tourist attraction in 1946, today?s thriving Jersey Pottery has become a world-renowned ceramics brand, with bespoke orders and classic ranges featuring in over 20 countries. Its base in Gorey is a wonderful day out as you can see the pottery being made, painted and glazed. You can also have a go yourself at Glaze Craze where you pick an item to paint and choose your own design. A real personal souvenir.  And if that?s not enough reason to visit, then the food is truly fantastic, be it a quick sandwich or a three-course meal.

Jersey Kayak Adventures

This is a truly unique way to discover Jersey and is fast becoming a must do. Jersey Museum ? all routes

Jersey Museum is a great introduction to life in Jersey.  Enjoy the perfectly restored Victorian merchant?s town house and explore the story of Jersey from the first inhabitants approximately 250,000 years ago, through the Bronze Age, the Roman period and right up to the modern day.  On display are some of Jersey?s best treasures, including mammoth bones from 150,000 years ago and the St Helier gold torque. It is the best way to brush up on your Jersey history.

The Wheel ? all routes

Met with mixed views across the island, the one thing that can?t be said is that it has been seen before. This is a truly unique addition to Jersey?s attractions and offers a new insight (literally) into the island. As the wheel goes around you get views across to St Aubin?s, the castle and into town. Only here for 5 months – if you?re thinking you will leave it till next summer think again. You wouldn?t want to be the only one who missed the ?Jersey Eye? would you?
