M&S comes to the Waterfront
First it was M&S Home in Liberty Wharf, and last month it was announced that a new M&S food store is planned for the new Castle Quay development. The 2,500 square foot store will be situated on the ground floor of the 400-plus apartment complex and will be opening its doors in April next year. Sandpiper CEO Tony O’Neill said: “I have no doubt that the quality of our M&S Simply Food brand will be ideally placed to serve the needs of the waterfront residents at Castle Quay.  The new food store will not only provide the usual top end grocery items from M&S, it will also stock newspapers, magazines and other branded convenience items”.

Ask the experts
Martin Flageul from Victor Hugo on what to get the oenophile in your life… “It is always difficult to choose a favourite but what I really like about Hugh Johnson’s “Vintage: The Story of Wine” is its exceptional readability. For a book to cover the story of wine from the dawn of civilization to the present day and include a chronological and geographical theme throughout with some very humorous references is extremely skilful.  It’s a great read for any wine lover whether professional or an avid amateur.”
‘The Story of Wine’, Hugh Johnson (second edition) available from Amazon, £30 approx.
